Signing Off on Results

Updated over 4 months ago

Unsigned Results on the Homepage

The home page for clinical users has a display of the total number of unsigned results assigned to that user. These are results that need to be reviewed by the physician. If you click this number, you are taken to the Global Results page with your unsigned results displayed.

When a result is signed off, it will no longer appear as an unsigned result in this box. This provides an up-to-date view of pending actions for the clinical user.

Where to Sign Off on Results?

Results can be signed off in two areas of Arya:

  1. Global Level Results Tab

    • This tab provides an overview of all results across patients.

    • When results are signed off in this tab, they will no longer appear in the global view. Instead, they will only be accessible in the Patient Level Tab under the specific patient's records.

  2. Patient Level Tab

    • This tab focuses on results for a specific patient.

    • Results signed off here remain within the patients results section unless deleted.

What Happens After Signing Off on a Result

When a result is signed off, certain aspects become locked, while others remain editable:

  1. Locked Fields:

    • Date of the Result: The date associated with the result cannot be modified.

    • Patient Assignment: The patient to whom the result is assigned becomes fixed and cannot be changed.

  2. Editable Fields:

    • Result Category: You can still change the category or classification of the result.

    • User: The user associated with the result can still be updated as needed.

  • Image above displays the 2 fields that are locked upon signing a result.
