How to Book a Telehealth Appointment
If you would like to book a Telehealth appointment, navigate to the Schedule page and start creating an appointment in one of the following ways:
select Add Appointment button at the top
select the + icon for the necessary time slot in Single User Day View
select the time slot in either All Users Day View or Week View.
After that, the Add Appointment menu will appear on the righthand panel. You can fill in the fields required and select Telehealth Visit for the appointment type, then Save.
A "Success" notification will confirm the appointment's creation, and you will be able to review the booked appointment within the Day or Week view.
How to Start a Telehealth Appointment
To start your Telehealth session, navigate to the Schedule page, switch to Day view and select a specific user in the left-side panel. Find the necessary appointment and click the video icon for it:
NOTE: the Telehealth video icon is only visible in Single User Day view.
A new window will appear where you can click Join. Don’t forget to allow Arya Telehealth to access your camera and microphone when prompted. You can also change which camera, speakers, and microphone you are using at the bottom of the camera view.
NOTE: The system will insert the name of the healthcare provider who is scheduled for the appointment.
Accessing the Settings During the Call
During the call you may access the settings by clicking on the three vertical dots found on the bottom of the screen. A pop-up window will appear where you can access the Settings of the call.
The Settings section guides you to the Device Settings, allowing you to verify the accuracy of the audio input and output settings for the microphone and headphones/speakers used during the call.
Telehealth Appointment is Completed
Once the telehealth visit is completed just click on the red button End Call at the bottom part of the screen.
How to Edit a Telehealth Appointment
If you would like to edit existing Telehealth appointments on the schedule, you can navigate to the schedule page and select Edit if you are in Single User Day View, or by clicking the appointment itself in either Week View or All Users Day View.
Adjust the details on the required fields as needed, then save the changes. Also, you can select Delete if you want to remove the appointment entirely.
Use the Appointment History drop-down to view the list of previous changes done to the appointment.
After making the changes, you can resend the telehealth invite by clicking the three vertical dots next to the Edit button, then click Resend Telehealth Invite and the patient will receive the notification via email.
NOTE: Arya sends automatic 'Appointment Changed' notifications to patients anytime the Date, Start Time or Appointment Type are updated. If one of these changes is made, you do not need to resend the invite to the patient manually.
