How to Book a Telehealth Appointment

If you would like to book a Telehealth appointment on the schedule, you can navigate to the schedule page and select Add Appointment, select the + icon if you are in Single User Day View, or by selecting the time slot in either Single User Week View or All Users Day View.

Once you have selected either Add Appointment, the time slot, or the + icon the Add Appointment window will appear. You can fill in the fields required and select Telehealth Visit for the appointment type then select Save.

A "Success" notification will confirm the appointment's creation, and for reference the Telehealth appointment will be visibly tagged within the Week view and Day view.

How to Start a Telehealth Appointment

To start your Telehealth session, navigate to the Schedule page and click the video icon on the scheduled appointment.

A pop-up window will appear where you can enter your name and then click Join Room. Don’t forget to allow Arya Telehealth to access your camera and microphone when prompted.

Accessing the Settings During the Call

During the call you may access the settings by clicking on the three vertical dots found on the top-right corner of the screen. A pop-up window will appear where you can access the About and the Settings of the call.

The About section provides information to inform the patient about the compatibility and adequacy of their chosen browser for the video call. When indicated as True, the browser is suitable and supports the video call. Conversely, if indicated as False, the selected browser is outdated and might encounter difficulties in running the video call.

The Settings section guides the patient to the Device Settings, allowing them to verify the accuracy of their audio input and output settings for the microphone and headphones/speakers used during the call. Changes in the Settings tab are only permissible when the patient is not currently connected and engaged in the ongoing video call.

TeleHealth Appointment is Completed

Once the telehealth visit is completed just click on the red button End Call at the bottom part of the screen.

You will then be redirected to the Day View or Week view of the schedule page. The completed call will be grayed out with Finished status on the display.

How to Edit a TeleHealth Appointment

If you would like to edit existing Telehealth appointments on the schedule, you can navigate to the schedule page and select Edit if you are in Single User Day View, or by selecting the name on the time slot in either Single User Week View or All Users Day View, a window will appear.

Adjust the details on the required fields as needed then save the changes. Also, you may select delete if you want to cancel the appointment entirely.

After making the changes, you can resend the telehealth invite by clicking the three vertical dots next to the Edit button, then click Resend Telehealth Invite and the patient will receive the notification via email.
