Arya has integrated with Ontario's Health Card Validation (HCV) system. Users can now validate health card numbers for Ontario patients directly from Arya.
1. Adding Arya as a Designee in OPS BPS Secure
In order to use the HCV integration, you first need to add Arya as a Designee from your account in OPS BPS Secure. Please follow the steps below:
Enter your Go Secure credentials
Click Sign In then Continue
Click Designee Management
Click Add Designees
In the Full Name field, type "Arya Health"
In the Email field, type "onbilling@aryaehr.com"
Click Save, then Confirm
A system generated email will be sent to you and to Arya.
NOTE: It may take up to 2 business days for Arya to be updated as your designee.
Important: Go Secure credentials expire every 120 days. If the HCV function stops working, you might need to update your password, then re-connect your Arya account with the new password as described below.
Clinic Admins + Other Users
Each user who wishes to utilize this feature will need to enter the main physician's Go Secure credentials in their own profile under Edit My Profile > Billing Info > HCV fields.
Please ensure that the main physician’s billing number is also entered in this section to ensure proper validation.
2. Setting up HCV in Arya
In order to connect your Arya account with HCV, please navigate to Edit My Profile page from the upper-right corner drop-down:
Select the Billing Info tab:
From this tab, select Ontario as the province (unless your account is already integrated with MDBilling - in this case you can skip this step):
Locate the Health Card Validation field lower on the page and select Arya HCV (ON).
Enter your Go Secure credentials, the billing number and click Connect
Now you're all set up and ready to use our HCV integration!
How it works in Arya
Option 1: When adding a patient, select the check mark icon after entering the patient's health card and version code. The system will check the health card details and automatically fill in the fields with patient information.
Option 2: From the patient Demographics, click the Validate button in the Status section. The system will check the health card details and display the health card status.
