Referrals: Automated Referral Acknowledgement Letters
Users can now notify referring providers about the status of received referrals.
When a referral is marked as Approved, Rejected, or Waitlisted, a new Notify option allows you to easily send an update to the referring provider. Learn more in the article below!
Forms: New Multiselect Option
When creating new forms for patients, users can now select several form templates and create them at the same time. This means users no longer need to click the 'New' button and select the template separately for each form they wish to create.
Billing: Updates to Automatically Generated Bills
When users assign fee codes to the appointment types in their settings, the system automatically generates the claims for patients on the day of the corresponding appointment. We have updated the format of the claims that include several fee codes based on the clinic's province due to the different ways bills are submitted for BC and ON clinics.
ON: one claim is generated for the patient with all fee codes separated by a comma.
BC: several separate claims are generated, each claim containing one of the fee codes.
Appointment Settings: Clinical User Drop-Down
In addition to the recently released functionality that allows users to assign fee codes to appointment types, we have added the clinical user field. The clinical user selected in this drop-down will have the generated bills assigned to them. In no physician is selected, the bills get assigned to the user that the appointment is booked with.
🛠️ What is Fixed
Patient List: Results in Patient Search Are Not Alphabetical
When searching for a patient in the home page search bar or the patient list, the results would be displayed in a non-alphabetical order. The search result sorting issue has been fixed and the patients are displayed in the correct order now.
eFax: AI Assist Improvements
AI Assist has been improved to resolve issues with the health number field and date of birth field format that were previously reported by some users.
Forms: Template List Loading Speed Improvement
The list of form templates that users can access by navigating to Forms > New used to take longer time to load. This has been fixed to ensure the faster loading times for the form template list.
Schedule: Patient Phone Number Displayed in Preview
Users have previously run into an issue with viewing the patient phone numbers in Schedule. When booking an appointment and selecting a patient, upon hovering over the patient name in the right-side panel, the number would be listed as Unknown. This has been resolved to display the correct phone number in the Schedule.
