When working with results, you have an option to send a message to the patient. This option is available in both Global and patient-level Results.
NOTE: In order for this feature to work, the patient needs to have an email address indicated in their chart.
Click the Message button to reveal additional fields:
Here, you can write the message for your patient:
In the Fee Code field, you can indicate one or several fee codes. If a fee code is added, once you send the message, the system will automatically create a bill with the indicated fee code(s) and assign it to the patient. The bill can be found both in patient-level and Global Billing.
You can also click the star icon to mark this message as favourite. The system will remember the message you typed in, or both the message and corresponding fee code. This will allow you to quickly send similar messages and/or create bills for future patients.
The patient will receive an email to their email address with your Message:
