If your clinic is transitioning to Arya you have two options for handling your payee number:
Option 1: Create a New Payee Number
You can generate a new payee number and attach it to Arya
This option allows for immediate payment processing through Dr. Bill
It typically results in fewer delays compared to migrating an existing payee number however MSP can only connect to one Payee number at a time per physician so MSP must know the date you wish to have the new payee number become effective
Option 2: Migrate an Existing Payee Number
You can transfer your existing payee number from your previous EMR to Arya/Dr. Bill
To complete this process, please fill out the Teleplan Document, which can be found below in this article
This document ensures that Teleplan redirects payments to the correct data center (Dr. Bill)
Processing Time: Teleplan typically requires 5 to 10 days to move a payee number to a new data center, which may cause some payment delays
Some physicians prefer this method to maintain continuity and avoid confusion during the transition
