Well Baby Record- How to fill out the infant demographics

Welcome to our new feature - Well Baby record. With this new feature, you can now save all the information such as Demographics, Birth records, and Guides on baby's development aged from 0-5 years.

Well Baby Record consists of 2 main features:

  1. Infant Demographics &

  2. Guides: This range from 1 week to 5 years

    1. Infant Demographics:

    In this section, you can record and save all the birth-related information of a child. Follow these steps:

    1. Login to Arya EHR

    2. Go to the Patient Chart

      πŸ“– Note: the patient must be 0-5 years old. In this example, the Test patient is William WellBaby, who is 1 month old.

    3. Go to Patient Results

      1. Click on Charts

      2. Click on Well Baby Record to expand. Here, you see the guides ranging from IB to IVE that correspond to 1 week to 5 years old. Click on any guide, depending on the age of the child. For instance, click on Guide IA - within 1 week.

        πŸ’‘TIP: If the Well Baby Record is not expanding to see the guides, try refreshing your browser before trying again.

        Two boxes populate on the right side of the page - Infant demographics and the Guides section.


    4. Go to Well Baby Record: Infant Demographics section. In this section, you can fill and save the following information:

      1. Gestational Age (in weeks) - Fill in the gestational age or the duration of pregnancy in weeks.

        πŸ“– Note: Fill in the numerical value here.

      2. Birth Length (in cm) - Fill in the Birth length of the child.

        πŸ“– Note: A numerical value, up to 1 decimal, has to be entered in grams

      3. Birth Weight (in gm) - Fill in the Birth Weight of the child.

        πŸ“– Note: A numerical value, up to 1 decimal, has to be entered in grams.

      4. Birth Head Circumference (in cm) - Fill in the Head circumference of the child at birth.

        πŸ“– Note: A numerical value, up to 1 decimal, has to be entered in Centimetres.

      5. APGAR scale (at 1 minute and 5 minutes) - Two values need to be entered separately. One at 1 minute after the birth and the second one 5 minutes after the birth. It ranges from 0-10 in scale and the values can be selected from the dropdown.

      6. Discharge Weight (in gm)- Fill in the Weight of the child recorded during the discharge.

      7. Pregnancy and Birth Remarks - Any notes about pregnancy or birth can be entered here.

        πŸ“– Note: This is a free text field.

      8. Relevant Family History- Any notes about the family history that is significant can be entered here.

The information is Autosaved in the system, so you don't need to save anything manually.

To double check if all the information is Saved in the Patient's chart:

  1. Exit the Chart

  2. Open another section of the Patient's profile

  3. Re-open the Patient Chart and the Well Baby Record section to see the information you have stored.


πŸ“– Note: At present, the WBR cannot be printed, faxed or shared, but we are planning to include this feature in our future update.
