Arya's Locum Policy

Are you wanting to add a new clinician to your Arya clinic? See our policies and procedures here.

What classifies as a "locum" with Arya?

Locum = an individual who is replacing a current clinician for a specified period of time.

Any other cases constitute as adding a new clinician to your clinic. We are happy to help onboard your new clinical user and provide training, billing and results set up. They will be charged to your clinic as an additional user. Please contact us to begin the onboarding process.

Please note that if a locum and the clinician they are substituting for are found to be working concurrently (i.e. both booking appointments), Arya will charge for both users regardless of what their stated role is.

Temporary Locum Policies

A temporary locum is someone who is substituting for another clinician for less than one month. For example, someone filling in for a vacation or sick leave.

If the temporary locum requires no training, billing or results integration, there are no extra charges!

If the locum requires training, assistance with billing or results integration, the charge will be:

  • A flat $500 implementations fee

  • An additional $150/hour for any other training requested

Long-Term Locum Policies

A long-term locum is someone who is substituting for another clinician for greater than one month. For example, filling in for maternity/paternity leave.

Any long-term locum will be charged:

  • A flat $500 implementations fee

  • An additional $150/hour for any other training requested

  • A $25/month billing fee
